In a story reminiscent of the old ice-cream wars of the eighties,\nthe vehicle went missing from their HQ in Royston. We wondered if it might be a\n\u201clocal shop for local people\u201d<\/em> scenario,\ntill we realised it was the wrong Royston. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n A reward has\nbeen offered, consisting of five years subscription to the Chocolate Tasting\nClub and a visit to the inventing room at the factory. Apparently three males\nwere spotted in the vicinity so we\u2019ve contacted Messrs. Green, Black and Wonka\nbut are yet to hear back from any of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So do keep \u2018em\npeeled folks and if you see an ice cream\nvan with \u2018more cocoa less sugar\u2019 on the back Hotel Chocolat would like a word.\nOr it could just be a cheap publicity stunt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Also, if anyone\nsees some breakfast show listeners please do return them to Radio 2, Zoe is\nmissing about 780,000 of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Elsewhere,\nGoogle has organised a conference in Sicily discuss global warming. It\u2019s known\nas The Camp, and the rich and famous\nhave arrived in over 100 private jets and an armada of super yachts. Seems to\nme that the great and the good could have saved thousands of tonnes of\nemissions if they\u2019d come in just the one plane, or even more if somebody only\nhad the technology for a conference call. My dad might have described it as: \u201cDo as I say, not as I do.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Whilst on the\nsubject of lunacy, in drinks related news, Los Angeles Zoo is to launch a beer\nbrewed with the help of Charlie the sloth. He helped to choose a couple of\nextra ingredients for the brew from a range of fruits and flowers, plumping for\npears and roses. The beer will be available at \u2018Brew at The Zoo\u2019 a music\nfestival this weekend.
